How do you connect Claude to Aepto?

Open the connector
In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, and search for Aepto. Or use the button above while signed in to Claude.

Sign in with Aepto
Choose Connect and approve access. The consent screen should show Aepto. There are no API keys to paste.

Start with a setup, a triage or a DNS question, not just "list my domains".

Disconnect any time
Remove Aepto under Connectors in Claude, or under Connected apps in Aepto.
Team and Enterprise: an Owner enables Aepto under Organization settings, then Connectors, and each member connects with their own Aepto account. Prefer a URL? Add a custom connector with https://app.aepto.com/mcp (no trailing slash).

What is the Aepto connector for Claude?
It lets Claude work with your Aepto account from chat. Claude can set up domains and monitors, show what needs attention, look up DNS, manage Theft Guard and Domain Watch, and brainstorm names, within your account permissions.
Do I need an API key?
No. You choose Sign in with Aepto when you connect, so there is no key to paste. API keys are only for the REST API.
Can Claude change my account, or only read it?
It can do both. Write actions need matching permissions on the connection, and your plan limits still apply. You can disconnect at any time.
Does the connector use AI credits?
Tools such as domain analysis and keyword name discovery use AI credits on your Aepto account. Plan allowances are on the Pricing page.
How do I disconnect Aepto from Claude?
In Claude, disconnect or remove Aepto under Connectors. In Aepto, open your avatar menu, choose Connected apps and click Disconnect for the Claude grant.
