For domain investors
Domain portfolio software for investors who hold names at many registrars.
Aepto keeps every name you own in one inventory with its registrar, renewal date and renewal cost, synced from about 40 registrars. Folders and budgets show what each group of names costs a year, and Domain Watch tracks the names you still want.
What does an investor need to track, and where is it in Aepto?
The questions a portfolio review has to answer, mapped to the feature that answers them.

|---|---|---|
| What does the portfolio cost per year? | Domain Expenses: annual cost per name, account and folder budgets, CSV or PDF export | All plans |
| What renews in the next 30, 60 or 90 days? | Renewal reminders across every registrar | All plans |
| Which names are for sale, kept or being dropped? | Folders, for example "for sale", "core" and "drop at renewal" | All plans |
| Which names do I want but don't own? | Domain Watch with priority levels and a private max-bid note | 5 on Free, up to 150 on Agency |

What does a monthly portfolio review look like?
Thirty minutes a month instead of a scramble at renewal time.
- 90 days outDecide keep, sell or drop
List the names renewing in the next 90 days. Move each name into a "core", "for sale" or "drop" folder.
- 60 days outCheck the cost
Compare the year's renewal total with your budget, and fix any negotiated prices on the domain.
- 30 days outConfirm payment
Make sure auto-renew and the card are right for every name you are keeping.
- Every monthReview the watchlist
Re-prioritise names in Domain Watch and drop the ones you no longer want.
- Any timeAct on alerts
A registrar or nameserver change on a valuable name gets checked the same day.

Why not just use a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet holds what you typed last time. Aepto refreshes renewal prices from the registrars, reminds you before each renewal, and flags a registrar or nameserver change on a valuable name, which a spreadsheet never will.

Common questions
Short answers to what people ask before they start.
Which registrars does Aepto sync renewal pricing from?
About 40, including GoDaddy, Namecheap, Porkbun, Dynadot, Cloudflare, Gandi, Name.com, Namesilo, Spaceship, Epik, IONOS and OVHcloud. For negotiated rates, override the annual cost on the domain.
Does Aepto buy, back-order or bid on domains?
No. Domain Watch alerts you when a name's status changes. The Max Bid field is a private note for your own budget. Buying happens at a registrar or marketplace.
How large a portfolio can I track?
Up to 150 owned domains and 150 watched names on Agency. Larger portfolios move to Enterprise with custom limits.
Can I see what the portfolio costs per year?
Yes. Domain Expenses totals each domain's annual renewal cost, supports an account budget and per-folder budgets, and exports to CSV or PDF.
Is this an accounting ledger?
No. ROI records let you note revenue or value next to cost, but Aepto is not a tax or accounting system.
