Domain monitoring service
A domain monitoring service for people with too many domains.
Aepto checks every domain you own for downtime, expiring certificates and registrations, DNS and registrar changes, and pages that load but are broken. Whatever needs a person lands in one queue.
What does Aepto monitor for each domain?
Every signal attaches to the domain, so one list shows everything that is wrong.

Common questions
Short answers to what people ask before they start.
What does a domain monitoring service do?
It checks every domain you own for the things that break it: downtime, expiring certificates and registrations, DNS and registrar changes, and pages that load but are broken. Then it alerts the right person.
How is it different from uptime monitoring?
Uptime monitoring answers one question: does the site respond? Domain monitoring adds renewals, DNS and registrar drift, certificates and page content, because a domain can fail in all of those ways while still responding.
Do I have to transfer my domains to Aepto?
No. Aepto is not a registrar. It monitors domains wherever they are registered and hosted.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes for a first batch: create an account, add domains with Quick Add, turn on monitoring and set who gets alerts.
Can it stop a domain from being hijacked?
No monitoring service can. Keep the registrar lock and 2FA on. Aepto alerts when nameservers or the registrar change unexpectedly, which is when recovery is easiest.
